The former president's Family Member Seeks Professional Tips from Golf Legend Woods Prior to Professional Golf First Appearance
The rising star has considerable social media presence
Kai Trump will have numerous high-profile cheerleaders when she starts her professional golf debut on Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, was granted a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, operates multiple golf courses and frequently matches against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she stated.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa basically suggested to compete and enjoy myself," she continued.
"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He's not attending this weekend. He's busy with world affairs, making him quite busy."
As an amateur, the golfer has played in just three tournaments in 2024 and holds position 461 in AJGA rankings.
Yet she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with her mother.
"He is the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai expressed.
"And he's a superior person. He told me to go out there, relax, adapting to whatever happens."
She'll challenge several the biggest names in professional golf at this tournament, featuring second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to different demographics, particularly reaching younger fans.
The young star boasts millions of followers and has started a personal apparel and wellness label.
Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
